I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Philip in Pylos. the highlight of my experience was definitely the balcony and terrace. I enjoyed breakfast, romantic dinners, and mesmerizing sunsets while admiring the breathtaking view of the bay. the hotel itself is small-scale, recent, and impeccably maintained. the common areas are very nice, and I especially loved the great little swimming pool. the shady terrace and airy restaurant room added to the overall ambiance. My room, although on the smaller side, had its own cute little terrace with the same gorgeous view. the breakfast served every morning was delicious, offering a variety of freshly made options that set the tone for a fantastic day. the location of the hotel was also perfect for exploring the region, with Pylos harbor within walking distance and the beautiful Gialova beach just 6 km away. Despite the main road being close by, it didn't bother me much as it was hardly noticeable during the week. Considering the amenities and the stunning view, the price of the hotel was definitely a bargain. Cons: Couldn't fault the stay. 😊.

The breathtaking view from the balcony was the highlight of our stay. Watching the sunset over the bay and witnessing the sailing boats come and go was truly mesmerizing. The hotel's decoration was tasteful, creating a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The self-catering facilities in the rooms were well-equipped, allowing for flexibility during our stay. the family-run hotel ensured exceptional service and the indoor dining room with its expansive windows offered a magnificently picturesque setting. The quality of the cooking, particularly the fish soup, was outstanding.
While staying at the hotel, we found that a bit more information about the local area and a map would have been helpful. As the hotel is located on the main road into town, caution is necessary when crossing to the parking area and walking into Pylos.

We stayed at Hotel Philip in Pylos for a week and it was a wonderful experience. The view from our room's terrace was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking sights of the bay at any time of the day. The hotel itself is small and family-run, with friendly staff and a clean, marble-filled interior. The rooms were fantastic, especially considering the price, and even had self-catering facilities with a stove and kitchen essentials. The owner's attention to detail, despite also owning the adjacent restaurant, was impressive. We would definitely stay here again.
